How To Improve Your Brain And Your Personal Life With A Stupid Mac Game

Friday, February 17, 2012 | Alexis Kayhill Posted In Mac App Reviews

Stupid GameLet me go out on a limb here, and state that every Mac user has a brain (even Rush Limbaugh?). Scientists say that if we don’t use our brains enough, the brain begins to shrink.

Somehow or another, that’s probably not a good thing, and may account for all the small minded people running around the country today. How can you keep your brain from shrinking? Use it more. How can you use your brain in such a way that it stops shrinking?

The Stupid Game

Leave it clever Mac app developers to figure out a great way to keep your brain from shrinking while making your wallet shrink.

It’s the Stupid Game that aims to keep your brain from shrinking.

As if adulthood doesn’t cause enough brain shrinking, the Stupid Game comes along and verifies your brainpower (or, lack thereof) by testing your brain.

Putting Stupid Game on your Mac might be the best thing you can do for your aging, shrinking brain. It’s not a game that’s guaranteed to increase your intelligence, or stop brain shrinking, but when someone asks, “Why are you playing that Stupid Game?,” you’ll have the perfect answer.

Stupid Game has 30 different games and puzzles with varying levels of difficulty. They look like this:

Stupid Game Penquins

That’s easy enough, right? Except that if you mess up the sequence you’ll probably say something like, “Stupid Game!”

Stupid Game isn’t as stupid as you might think, though the first few games and puzzles may seem sophomoric.

More Stupid Game

The trick to beating Stupid Game is to realize it’s more therapeutic than game. It’s not whether you win or lose. It’s whether you play.

All those little brain teaser puzzles are good for your brain.

Stupid Game has two game modes. One is called Stupid Gamer. And the other is called Less Stupid Gamer.

The Mac version requires the ability to use the Mac’s mouse or trackpad to manipulate the game on screen.

If you have trouble with either mouse or trackpad, and can’t handle the one-click download process in the Mac App Store, then your brain has already shrunk too much and cannot be saved, even by Stupid Game.

To summarize, Stupid Game isn’t really stupid. Mac users who play Stupid Game will grow their brains, improve their family life, develop great sexual stamina, and contribute to the country’s economic growth.

And, if you believe that, then Stupid Game is perfect for you. Because you really, really need it.

Mac360's free app reviews, news, and commentary are supported by your kind attention to the nearby sponsoring overlords and their mostly benign, non-contagious, sometimes animated messages (like a visual vibrator). Visiting an aforementioned overlord today helps us pay for ear wax removal services. When you help out by giving attention to any sponsor during today's visit we're able to afford nail polish (but only for one nail). Games are good. They’re good for hand and eye coordination. They help to stimulate your heart (a little tension is good) and probably help your brain, too.

That’s true unless you’re playing games all the time, never leave your seat, and can play a game with one hand holding a cheeseburger or slice of pizza.
