Got Apps?

Mac360 is about the Mac, the iPhone and iPad. And, all the apps that Mac our Apple iDevices so special.

A large part of what we do is to review apps, especially those from lesser known developers; apps that we use ourselves, apps we would recommend to others, and apps that are worthy of consideration.

If you’re an app developer (or a reader who wants to turn us on to your favorite Mac, iPhone, or iPad apps) and want a review of your app, let us know. We review apps. We are partial to unique, useful, attractive, clever apps of value.

We may assign a review to one of our experienced writers, or elect not to review the app at this time, always at our discretion (so don’t be offended if we don’t review your app right away).

If your app has a healthy price tag and no trial version, we’ll ask you for a NFR license (not for resale) or an App Store redemption code. Mac360 does not sell reviews and we do not accept payment to review an app.

App Review Recommendations

As an app developer, we know you’ve devoted countless hours and effort to create your app. Make sure you have a web site devoted to the app, too.

An attractive and informative web site tells customers and users that you care enough about your app to give prospective buyers and users the information they need to make a purchase decision.

An app’s web site should have a thorough description of what the app does. There should be screen shots of the app. If possible, include a video of the app in action.

Apple’s app stores are popular, but do not provide an try-before-you-buy option. Please consider a lite or trial version of your app, even if the app can only be obtained on the App Store.

When your app is ready for prime time, contact us. We’ll take a look and let you know what we think, and whether the app warrants a full review from our staff.

Mac360 has been online since 2004 and we’ve reviewed nearly 4,000 Mac, iPhone, and iPad apps. If you’ve got one you like, let us know. Click Here to contact us.
