Absolutely! When I was in the Air Force, we found that electronics were more reliable and lasted longer if we left them on after ops-checking them rather than turning them off (this was for 12-hour flights; the electronics weren’t needed ‘till the plane got to where it was going). Ever since, I don’t turn off my stereo reciever or my Macs. I have a Windows machine that I do turn off; I only use it about once a month to update a database that is free for users of the Darkside but costs for Mac users :(
