At the risk of falling into this swirling vortex of negativity, it’s not a morality vs. money issue.
I don’t contend that making money is immoral; in fact, we’d be living in caves and grass huts if society didn’t use money. But this entire thread started with the contention that Microsoft behaves in a criminal fashion. I agree.

Don’t kid yourself into thinking Apple isn’t in business to make money.
They have to be in business to make money, otherwise it’s all a hobby, and the IRS disallows their expenses (you know, things like inventory, wages paid, etc.). But Apple is still run by visionaries, people who (IMHO) believe in their product, in elegant design, and in the value of pride in workmanship. Micorsoft is run (again IMHO) by a foul-mouthed, ill-tempered salesman who thinks that “Class” is what he skipped in school.

Now if you consider how they go about making that money; obviously their ideaology in how to make that money is different; there are a lot of factors that influence that.
