What is nice is that Apple hasn’t lost much since the Intel announcement, in fact sales have gone up.  I expect that sales will not be affected until about the time of the transition.  That is the time that many mac loyalists will actually buy up end of inventory as they will will “wait out the transition” with current machines.  I expect that after a month of so the transition we will see sales fall except for those windows users that have no idea and don’t care if it is IBM or Intel inside.

I also agree with earlier post that Intel is more mainstream anymore, especially with people who hear the end of PC commercials, for years now, say “Intel inside”.

I for one am pleased that I bought some extra stock the day before the announcement for a change and so far have been rewarded.

I thankfully got a lot of Apple stock when it was cheap. I’ve already seen those stocks split :D and the price go back up again. I am hoping for it to get back up to 50 a share again so that I can sell 50 stocks to pay for my trip to MacWorld Next year. BTW, anyone going to MWSF next year?
