A Little More News From Folks At Mac360.

NewsLife is full of changes. That appears to be one universal constant that affects all of us. Mac360 is no different.

As many readers know, Tera and I started Mac360 as a way to share news and views about Macs with others—Mac users, and switchers.

Mac360 is now in the 3rd of online publication year with nearly 800 articles on everything we could think of about Apple, Macs, iPods, Microsoft, software, hardware.

We’ve tried to report Mac and Apple news as we saw it, heavily flavored by a female Mac user perspective, of course.

Generally speaking, Tera could go toe to toe with most readers on any technical subject, and with more written eloquence than most.

Alexis has this knack for digging up great Mac applications that are filling, yet cost less. “Less” as in free.

Jack and Carol did a good job filling in from time to time and added the fresh perspective of a married couple; Jack the Windows guy, Carol the Mac babe.

Talk about Point and CounterPoint.

Should married people be allowed to talk about computer differences?

Tera thought it would bring an attractive set of viewpoints to Mac360 readers.

We had high hopes for the Mac360 Forums and appreciate those readers who continue to frequent the Forums and share insight and experience with others.

That’s what Tera wanted for Mac360—a forum to share.

Though I’m much taller than my closest and dearest friend, I’ve always considered it a pleasure and rare opportunity just to stand anywhere near Tera’s shadow.

She is a special person who’s always been full of the vibrancy of life and attitude that I consider it a blessing that I’ve known her well.

For those of us who’ve been privileged to know and be with Tera through the years (and I say this with all kindness—it’s been many years), there have been ups and downs and ups again. And again.

Tera’s health has suffered over the years, and more than a few times over the past three years of Mac360, though we hope for the best, we know that an era in our lives is about to end.

Her parents have asked us to come for a visit. Tera is staying with them in Los Angeles. They wouldn’t ask her friends to visit if the situation were not serious, so Alexis and I will journey to their home in LA for what we suspect is a last hello—and goodbye.

Tera was friendly toward all, friends with a special few. I consider myself in the company of the latter.

As Tera is fond of saying, “nothing improves without change.” Tera is the queen of change; constantly learning, forever making adjustments and improvements, always moving forward, fully looking forward to tomorrow.

Life is about change. Apple has shown us dramatic changes in the past couple of years. We can expect more changes, as nothing improves with it, right?

With renewed focus we’ll do our best to provide Mac360 readers with valuable insight and perspective, and carry a tradition started many years ago by the divine Missy T—my friend, Tera Jean.
