Does “I’m A PC” Really Use A PC, Or A Mac?

HodgemanApple’s TV commercials with John “I’m a PC” Hodgman are a big hit. So big that Hodgman’s new book, The Areas of My Expertise, may be a big hit, too. I’ve just one question: Mac or PC?

Unless you’re living in a foreign country without internet access, or living in the US without access to electricity, you’ve seen John Hodgman.

He’s a reporter of sorts for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, and he’s the affable, friendly, but confused “I’m a PC” character in Apple’s popular TV commercials.

Hodgman is also an author, of sorts, with his first book, The Areas of My Expertise.

What’s his know-how, besides PCs?

Primarily “...matters historical; matters literary; matters cryptozoological; hobo matters; food, drink, and cheese (a kind of food); squirrels and lobsters and eels; haircuts; utopia; what will happen in the future; and most other subjects.”

Other than Apple’s TV commercials, how do we know so much about John Hodgman? Interviews. And The Daily Show.

The Phoenix does a great interview of a very funny guy.

The real question is, “Mac or PC?” Can you tell? How can you tell?

What are the signs of a person who uses a PC? What are the signs of someone who uses a Mac? Can you tell which uses which just by looking?
