How To Get Very Good Mac Software Very Cheap.

Most of us, Mac users included, like a good value. Would we agree that the Mac is an excellent value in computing? Certainly.

How about software for your Mac? Free is good. The Mac has plenty of excellent software applications that are free. How about 90-percent off?

I’d go for Microsoft Office 2008 at 90-percent off. Microsoft can afford it. Bill Gates can afford it. Hell will freeze over before Office hits the shelves at 90-percent off. That would be a steal.

One of the benefits of being out of the office for almost a month is digging through all the email on my Mac. That’s a joy, right? Not. Unless one of the email messages has a bargain that’s too good to resist.

The MacHeist promotions have proven to be highly beneficial to Mac users, and somewhat beneficial to Mac application developers. Yes, they sell their product dirt cheap, but end up with thousands of new customers who may upgrade to future versions.

It’s a win win situation of sorts. But that begs the question: “What other bargains of value exist among Mac software applications?”
