Move Your Mac’s Weather To The Next Level.

It’s one thing to know if it’s sunny or cloudy, cool or cold, warm or hot. Many Mac utilities give you quick access to the weather.

Seasonality becomes your weather center. It does everything but control the weather.

Carol did a recent article on Mac utilities which give you forecasts and conditions.

The range is from the free to near free and included menu bar apps, Dashboard Widgets, and in between.

Radar images will show current and past weather. Historical data is also Seasonality’s weather forte, so you can compare this month to last month, this year to last year.

Starting up Seasonality gets you local conditions right away, as it connects to the “Me” card in AddressBook.

Choose from over 34,000 weather locations in 202 different countries. The location sidebar can hold multiple locations.

Forecasts are usually five to seven days using different sources, including the National Weather Service in the US.

Seasonality’s approach is detail, not just a temperature and a graphic of current conditions.

Serious weather trackers can use their Mac to track weather for a given location over a given period of time. Most locations cover 96 hours, though some conditions can be tracked over a year.

The whole process is aimed toward the visual senses; slider bars, point and click, graphs, even satellite images from Nasa’s Blue Marble satellite image bank.

The folks at Gaucho update Seasonality regularly, and move between various weather services and conditions permit. Seasonality is affordable and gives you 30 days trial.
