At one time, Safari users (obviously Mac only) made up nearly 70-percent of our site’s visitors each day. Now that’s down to less than 50-percent.
Firefox browser users were once barely 1-percent, now they’re over 20-percent. Windows user numbers have increased, too.
What’s going on?
Oh, have you heard the latest? Linux creator, Linus Torvalds uses a Mac as his main desktop machine now (of course, he still uses Linux). Click Here for affirmation of your disbelief (I did).
With all these strange things going on, it’s time to check the pulse of computer users in a multi-question online poll.
This one has three (3) questions. Two have multiple answer opportunities.
First, How Do You Browse The Internet? From home, from the office, from school, or somewhere else?
Next, Which Browser Do You Use On The Internet? Again, I’d expect some multiple answers as many of us use Safari AND Firefox, though most Windows users are still on Internet Explorer despite all the security issues.
The are plenty of choices but I narrowed them down to the Top Three, plus room for “Other.”
Finally, Mac or Windows? Again, there’s room for fudge in the selections. Mac only, Windows only, both, or something else.
To check out the multi-question poll, and click in your responses (more than one response is allowed, only one per day, though you may select either Mac or iPod), Click Here.
To see the results on votes by other readers, and their choices, just Click Here.
As usual, there’s no cost, obligation, or special consideration. You may select more than one answer, but vote only once per day. Or, click the Comments link below (still anonymous) and share your multiple thoughts, experiences, fears, and aspirations with other readers.
Oh, One More Thing™—Linus Torvalds uses a Mac, yes. He says it was given to him. And it runs Linux. Still…
