Why Apple Won’t Discuss iPhone’s Hidden Secrets.
It’s not just a cell phone and an iPod. There’s more. Much more. If the iPhone as we know it is worth $500, how much are these features worth? A copy of a television commercial which highlights all the iPhone’s hidden secrets showed up on YouTube, courtesy of Conan O’Brien. What is it that the iPhone will do that you didn’t know about already? Yes, it’s a cell phone, a wide-screen iPod, a movie player, and an internet navigation device, and much more. Most users are only aware of the cell phone and iPod capabilities in the iPhone. However, other features will make the $500 price tag seem like pocket change. Apple’s web site has clearly limited the list of all the things the iPhone will do. The new iPhone also does work as an electric shaver, a blow dryer, a mace spray to thwart muggers and criminals. Remarkably, the iPhone also doubles as a mouse trap, a remote control, a bottle opener, lipgloss, a condiment dispenser, a cheese grater, a sonogram, a tread mill, a thermometer, a portable shower, a book mark, a hand granade, a pan flute, sideburns, and a condom. Come on. That’s worth more than $500, right? Why won’t Apple discuss all these secret features? We can only assume two reasons. The first is simple: who would believe an electronic device could contain than many functions? The second reason the features have gone unannounced until now is the damage it would do to the electronics industry. Who would buy all those gadgets individually, when the iPhone carries them all in one small package. That would be an economic disaster for Wall Street and many companies trying to compete against Apple’s new all-in-one wonder. Or not. Thanks to Conan O’Brien for helping us add yet another item to the Mac360 YouTube Watch.
