A friend has sent you a link to the following article: http://mac360.com/index.php/mac360/comments/13/ Mac users are loyal and Macs last a long time, so there are still millions of users on Mac OS 9.x and even Mac OS 8.x. What’s yours? Every new Mac shipped for the past three years has Mac OS X installed, and Mac OS 9 is available to run as an application within Mac OS X. So, it’s possible that you’re running both operating systems at the same time. Still, it’s Mac OS X and you’re just running Classic, too. Mac OS X is noted for it’s dependability, stability, and reliability (and the juicy Aqua buttons). For most users, Mac OS X won’t “feel” as fast as Mac OS 9.x. On the other hand, Mac OS 9.x usually is considered “snappier” on screen and much more familiar and “Mac like” when compared to Mac OS X. Mac OS 9.x and 8.x are also prone to more crashes and frozen screens. What’s your favorite Mac OS? Which do you use now? The voting polls are open. To vote for the Mac OS that you use on your mac, all you have to do is Click Here. To see the results on how the voting is going, just Click Here.
