Check the list. It was huge. The rumored $500 Mac (dubbed the Mac mini) was the best rumor fullfilment I can remember in many Mac years. Did you order one from the Apple Store? Which one? And how about those new iPods (dubbed the iPod shuffle). You get something to carry around extra files for safety and transfer AND you can listen to 240 songs-- in a row or randomly. Did you order a new iPod from the Apple Store? Which one? It was a steady stream of Steveness for two hours. iLife ‘05 has finally matured and is worth more than the price of a new Mac mini (opinion piece; sorry Bill Palmer). Yes, I have iLife ‘04 and it works great. $79? Did you order iLife ‘05 from the Apple Store? How about iWork? That new suite of apps combines Keynote 2.0 with Pages, a desktop publishing word processor of sorts. Did you order one? If Mac OS X Tiger had been ready I would have ordered on the spot, except the Apple Store online was getting hit rather hard with site visitors and was actually down or as slow as peanut butter for awhile.
