A friend has sent you a link to the following article: http://mac360.com/index.php/mac360/comments/244/ Apple may have timed production and distribution perfectly for the 2004 holiday shopping season. The iPod was considered by many to be the hot gift of the Christmas season. Some media outlets say the iPod is required equipment for the echo generation (what happened with the baby boomers had offspring). A number of retailers were sold completely out of select models of the iPod, including some high-traffic Apple retail stores. Even the eMac and iMac G5 were considered hot sellers, but perhaps not nearly so hot as accessories. How’d you do this year? Was there an Apple product under your tree, or wrapped up in your gift? In short, how’d you score? iPod? Softare? Accessories for the iPod? You got an iMac G5 (lucky you)? This week’s Mac user poll focuses on the gift goodies. Did you get an iPod or accessories? Or both? Did you score with a full on Mac? A laptop? PowerBook or iBook? You get to supply the answers (anonymously, of course).
