Try a new Mac mini for 30 days. Love it or give it back.
 I'm not sure what's going on but it must be something worth considering. Apple just launched a Mac mini promo called "Test Drive A Mac mini." Try it for 30 days, send it back if you don't love it. Is Apple supremely confident in the Mac mini? Or just highly desperate?

What's a tip worth? Enough to show your mom you really care.

 I'm serious. Last night I got a splinter in my finger that would not come out. My Mac rescued me. It's a long, convoluted road, but there's sunshine and a happy ending. Oh, and something about maps, directions, Google, and AddressBook.

Boston Globe says Apple encourages people to steal digital music. Vote!
 Our anonymous Mac Poll strikes again. This time the question is simple and difficult at the same time. How many songs do you carry on your iPod? 100? 500? Over 1,000? 2,000? Better yet, how many of those songs are downloaded "legally" vs. downloaded from peer-to-peer file networks, like the old Napster: "not legal?" Readers voted. You can too. Anonymously, of course.
