The next Mac may not be a Mac outside, but it will be a handheld Mac.
There's a not so fine line between what we want from Apple and what they deliver. Technology evolves. Apple's Newton was neat, but clunky and ahead of its time. The iPhone? Right on time and getting better. So where's the next Mac?

Kate asked me to review the new "Pedia" media managers which organize books, CDs, DVDs, and games on your Mac. The whole suite is a nifty collection of the way you want your stuff to be organized. I have just one complaint.

Elgato is the TiVo for the Mac. New version uses Mac as wireless station.
I think I know why Apple doesn't include a digital video recorder in AppleTV. Such a feature would antagonize content providers who don't like such devices. Elgato doesn't care and the new EyeTV software only makes life better for Mac users who want to record TV.

Corporate IT departments add more Macs to reduce operating costs.
I love a good argument that has plenty of pros and cons and factual evidence to consider. So it is with Macs vs. Windows PCs in the workplace. Macs are less expensive to use than Windows.

They're almost the same price. Why is there such a big difference?
I'm the official Mac360 'Queen of Bargains' so I was surprised when Bambi asked me to review a couple of $30 Mac applications. I like free, right? Bambi said, " Not all that's free is a good value, Alex." The result? A lesson in value.
