Some experts deride Apple's firewall security "lapses" in Leopard.
 One of the surprises that Wil and I found in Leopard was the lack of a firewall. Rather, the firewall in Leopard wasn't turned on by default, and users can no longer access firewall settings as they could in Tiger. What's up with that?

Leopard is fast, shiny, cool, with some rough edges, lots of YMMV.
 The wait in line at the Apple Store was about 30 minutes to pick up the Family Pack version of Mac OS X Leopard. Over the following 48 hours I tried every installation process available on new and old Macs. There's good, there's bad, some ugly, and YMMV-- your mileage may vary.

View, edit digital movies in many formats, delete TV commercials.
 The digital media era means we have many solutions for the same problems. There must be a dozen complex Mac utilities for viewing or editing movies, including Apple's QuickTime Player. Try Simple MovieX and learn to rejoice over simplicity again.
