What? You didn't know your Mac's windows were such a mess? Zoom 'em!
 I confess that I don't like windows. Or, Windows. The Mac had windows first, and even in OS X Leopard, the Mac's windows can be a mess. If you've noticed, grabbing a loose window on your Mac is a hit and miss proposition. Zoom makes it easier.

Handy floating sketch utility captures screen shots, adds text, graphics.
 There's nothing new about doing graphics, images, screenshots, and doodling on the Mac. FlyingMeat's FlySketch utility takes onscreen doodling to another level. Cool, interesting, not quite there yet.

Is this added safety and security or a great way to spy on Mac users?
 Let's face it, sometimes we type something into our Macs and then lose what we type. Sentences. Paragraphs. Whole documents. Poof. They disappear. Wouldn't it be great if your Mac remembered everything you typed, all the time, and would store it for you?

My nomination for least known or understood is Disk Utility.
 It's no secret that Apple is a secretive company. Apple wants you to know only what they want you to know and nothing else. That desire for secrecy seems to extend into OS X itself which is full of secret short cuts, secret features, seemingly secret utilities which most Mac users don't know about.

Handy and free Mac utility adds functionality to iChat's new features.
 Friday is full of tradition at Mac360, including reviews of free software for your Mac. I'm a big fan of iChat and use it to keep in touch with family and friends. iChat is almost perfect. Add Chax and perfection is even closer.

A Better Finder Rename is a tool that's better than the sum of the parts.
 I have had more than my share of Mac utilities and tools over the past nearly 24 years. For almost 10 of those years I've used one tool that is crazy handy but has the worst name ever for a Mac utility.

 I'm not much for Swiss Army Knife software.When I find a Mac utility that works, even a one-trick pony, everyone needs to know. If you manage web sites then you know the value of Google's search engine. Make searches easier with Google Sitemap Automator.
