2 New Web Site Tools With Style Over Substance.

ToolsMac users have a bewildering array of utilities to help build web sites. XHTML and CSS editors. FTP file upload utilities. Graphic and design tools.

Some web site tools are so good that Mac users can’t live without them. Other tools make you wish for the good old days. Like yesterday.

If you’ve read Mac360 for any length of time you know we are seldom highly critical in our software reviews. When we offer a review, it’s usually on Mac software that we use ourselves.

I agree regarding Flux. Lots of promise, but not much delivery. I can get it to lock up and nearly freeze just by adding a full page of code. It’s a shame because it looks soooooo good.

As to Flow, I won’t bother to try it if it doesn’t do dual windows for local and remote servers. That’s a must. Trying to be different just for the sake of being different may not be a good idea.

The droplet looks nice.

You were too kind. Flux is dead slow on my Mac. It has a lot of nice features and a different way to manage code, but is sluggish, even on a new iMac.
