Compare OS X To Windows Vista? Where’s The Beef?

Vista The news that Microsoft changed Longhorn’s name to Vista is no longer news. It’s desperation. The news that the latest version of Vista’s beta is being delayed until next year is no longer news. It’s modus operandi at Microsoft.

Mac OS X Tiger has received mostly rave reviews from anyone in the media who reviews such things as a complex operating system. Apple’s PR has been great for about three years.

On the other side of PR dreamland is the nightmare scenario.... (excerpted).

OK. Could someone tell me what is so special
about Mac OS X ? I ‘ve seen the environmment,
I found that it doesn’t look at all like Windows
(Vista/XP or whatever), I REALLY can’t understand
which smart features you see on it, or which are
the features copied to Windows.

I use Windows for so long (!).
I haven’t even noticed a change in it’s general UI logic.
I know that Windows has virus problems etc, but
I have NEVER in my life formatted my hard drive
or got a “blue screen” using XP (lets say for 5
years or so).

Pehaps Mac is more secure from viruses but, is
this the only reason to say that Mac is better ?
(Honestly, I can’t understand)

However Mac is fine, especially compared to
Linux… But why is it more expensive than
Windows ?

Does MS VS 200x work on Mac ?
I heard that Mac suports .NET.

Snow Leopard
