How I Learned To Love And Live With Leopard’s Quirks.

LeopardThe dust has settled and Mac OS X Leopard is entering the age of maturity. I hope. This adolescent operating system drives me nuts. Sometimes.

Other times I’m so proud you’d think I coached Steve Jobs on the feature set. Leopard is the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde of OS X versions.

Don’t misunderstand. I’m not bashing Leopard. I love it. Sometimes. Apple’s monumental answer to Windows Everywhere raises the bar for Mac, iPod, and iPhone users. And raises ire, too.

I have been a MAC user since the beginning. My first an SE30 with 40meg hard drive and a full page black and white monitor. It was easier to find files then, than it is today on Leopard.

I really dislike leopard and am wondering if I can run my old Tiger operating system on my new 2 x 2.8 GHZ Quad-Core Intel Xeon?  I haven’t been able to find my files since I got this beast. Among other problems. This thing works too much like a PC!  I want my old G5 back.

I don’t know what it is about stacks though. They’re not quite necessary, but I like them anyway!
