How To Listen To Your Own Music Over The Internet
One of the nice features of iTunes is the ability to share music with other users on your home network. Set up iTunes for sharing, let someone else listen to the music that’s stored on your Mac.

While SimplifyMedia is neat, it is no match for ShareTool from Yazsoft. SimplifyMedia is limited to music. ShareTool lets you connect to ALL your Bonjour services from anywhere over an encrypted connection. It’s much faster than SM and a lot more useful. You can see your iPhotos, screen sharing, filesharing and a million other things from anywhere around the world. Basically, ShareTool is Back to my Mac on steroids.

I have been using SimplifyMedia for a few months and it is the most incredible system that allows me to listen to over 12,000 Apple Lossless songs from my library on my 3G iPhone!! It doesn’t matter that my iPhone is capable of holding about 13Gig of music.
Great Job and can’t beat the price!!

Have to ditto the previous comment. Simplify is one of the most elegant file sharing programs, in this case, music, that I’ve seen in over twenty years of using the Mac. Took only minutes, no configuration hassles or worrying about my firewall,...just success the first time. I’d pay for such an elegant program, but thanks, Simplify guys, for making it free!
