Super Duper from Shirt-Pocket Software.
This isn’t just “backup” software, either. It’s a full system; archive, backup, restore, carbon copy, bootable backups, “safe” backups. It’s pretty much all you’ll need to make sure the data (all of it) on your Mac’s hard drive is safe.
I’m an experienced Mac user and date my Mac experience back to an original 128k Mac in 1984. I’ve had them all. Through the years I haven’t lost much data because I’ve kept extra hard drives around, so that’s where I’ll start on my.... (excerpted).

Though I also do not like many of whom you have got in your list, I don’t really hate them…

Posting comments is free, fun, low in calories, low in carbs, non-fat, mildly addictive, and may give you mild euphoria (due to the false sense of literary prowess).
Your comment may be anonymous, if you prefer. Or, use a cute name-- something everyone can remember. An email address is required only if you want to be notified of new comments by other posters, and is always shielded from email spam harvesters (but don't use a Gmail or Yahoo! or Hotmail or any free email service address-- too much spam).
Keep your comment on topic, relevant, worthy, and funny. Or, pick any three. We moderate the comments before posting so SPAM links will be deleted (Spammers-- you're a blight on society, not to mention your body odor, so don't waste your time or our time).
Please Note: Your comment will not show up immediately. We moderate all reader comments to eliminate spam, off topic posts, and silly arguments. Otherwise, don't worry, post your comment and enjoy. Your email address is never displayed.

I have just purchased a PC and the hard drive is petitioned 50-50. I have MAC OS X 10.6 on one petition and XP Pro on the other. I have added some Adobe and Microsoft software to each petition. I have added Libronix (LOGOS) Bible software to the XP petition. Will SuperDuper back up my OS X petition completely. System files and program files? I am concerned about restoring later should I have a problem. I was thinking I could back up these files to a USB hard drive and then use Norton Ghost to back up the XP system and files to another petition on the USB hard drive. It has taken me two days just to load the Bible software.
