Ever since someone told me to capture chunks of screen real estate with the keyboard (control+shift+command+4) I’ve been a screen shot snapaholic.
I’ll find a piece of a web page, snap it, send it to someone. I’ll grab a piece of a document, snap it, send it to someone. I’ve even been known to save and organize my snapshots, thanks to the Sent folder in Apple’s Mail.
No more. I now possess a solution worthy of the Graphic Gods who watch over Mac users, and fill our needs, even when we don’t know they need to be.... (excerpted).

Interesting Alexis! I like to just use “grab” in system utilities. That seems to work just fine for me when I want to take a snap shot of a window or just say for instance, a widget. Then after the snap shot I send it to my desktop most of the time or some times to a folder in my documents if I want to keep the snap shot for the long run. The control+shift+command then 4 is a new thing to me. See read and learn, 80% or more of what I have learned about my Mac os x has come from reading 360 these last two and a half years. I would most likely still be trying to turn on my Mac if it was not for everyone at 360. I consider myself as a intermediate os x user by now.
