I love free applications and no Mac is complete without a little history—for free.
Mactracker brings you information on any Mac ever made. Chips. Features. Specs. Prices. Click. Test your knowledge about Macs.
If you’re a long time Mac user, or a recent switcher, download Mactracker and track your way through the Mac’s history books.
Why? Because the history of the Mac is rich and flavorful. You’ll be amazed at how much Macs once cost and how underpowered they were..... (excerpted).
Post your own comment to this article. Or, post in the Mac360 Forums. It's mostly anonymous, there's no obligation, and no cost. Posting is free, fun, low in calories, low in carbs, non-fat, and mildly addictive. It's like chocolate and blondes.
Your comment may be anonymous, if you prefer. Or, use a cute name-- something everyone can remember. An email address is required only if you want to be notified of new comments by other posters, and is always shielded from email spam harvesters (but don't use a Gmail or Yahoo! or Hotmail or any free email service address-- too much spam).
Keep your comment on topic, relevant, worthy, and funny. Or, pick any three. We moderate the comments so SPAM links will be deleted (Spammers-- you're a blight so don't waste your time or ours).

My history only goes back two years, Kind of makes me feel like a Mac idiot now.
What can I say though? All my friends are still on p.c.‘s and that is how I got born into the computing world. They all love my Quad Mac Pro and I know there is jealously to be involved with my friends because they can’t afford a Pro and don’t want a IMac now that they have seen and used my Pro. Humm did I reck it for them?
