The Future of Video for Mac Users: Cool, or Not?

CanonI guess I’m a sucker for advertising. That’s especially so when the advertising is really a third party endorsement. So it is with my latest gadget—a digital camera. It’s not just any digital camera.

It’s a camera that is absolutely made for Mac users who love iPhoto, iTunes, and iMovie, want quality, want ease of use, and modest cost. I blame my recent purchase on Cabel Sasser of Mac software developer, Panic.

Last year I bought my wife a little pocket Canon.... (excerpted).

Nice article Ron. Did I miss a paragraph, I don’t recall you saying anything about “places” for Iphoto. A feature I love about the Iphone if only the camera was worth a hoot!

Technology, will it ever stop beating on my wallet up? Every time I buy a new peripheral for my Mac’s something better comes out next week at half the cost.

My wife received a Sony digital 7.1 megapixel high definition camera last christmas (08). I am not much of a Sony fan because everything I have bought from Sony breaks usually sooner rather than later.

I have to say I am impressed with the Sony so far (It still works almost six months later). It takes crisp pictures and also does movies with surprisingly good sound and video. But there is no zoom when in movie mode on the Sony either.

To bad my wife’s brother bought her a pink one because I sure would like to take it out in public and use it. Unfortunately for me that camera is a house camera. Maybe an aluminum colored spray paint might fix that problem.

I just wish it had g.p.s. in order for places to work on Iphoto.
