True Confessions: I’m A Sucker For Toast Upgrades

ToastAs a very long time Mac user I’m officially obligated to upgrade that which I no longer use but am afraid to delete from my Mac. There’s the dreaded Curse of Deletion which inhabits all Macs for all Mac users.

Once you start upgrading software, you’re obligated to continue upgrading, otherwise something terrible will happen to your Mac’s files, your hard drive, your screen, your internet connection, or your complexion. In other words, upgrade to Roxio’s Toast 10 or.... (excerpted).

Geo, don’t forget if you own a copy of 9 w/install code, and you decide to buy a copy of 10, with $20 off deal, you get the 10 install code too.  There is some new stuff in 10, but 9 still works fine.  Put the Toast 9 on the older Mac.

Couple of things I don’t like about Roxio.  A friend just bought ver. 9 and was told he could only install it on one machine unlike most applications that will let you install on at least two.
Also, having just bought ver. 9 two weeks ago he was told he would have to pay $30 to upgrade to Ver. 10.  Again, most applications I know give you a month’s leeway.

What is the upgrade price from Toast 9?  Can’t find any mention on Roxio’s website.

Editor’s Note: No upgrade price; just the $20 off deal.
