TW3 Redux: That Was The Week That Was. For Apple.

Do you have an iPod? Have you used the iTunes Music Store? The songs from iTMS have a digital rights management system (DRM) that lets you own and play the music with restrictions. Most of us don’t worry about Apple’s DRM because it works well.

Others sit up nights trying to figure out ways to crack Apple’s DRM scheme. “DVD Jon” has done just that. MacDailyNews reports on an application Jon built that lets you bypass iTunes, connect to iTMS, download music without DRM..... (excerpted).

Yes I buy from Itunes, I bet I have payed for a few of Steve Jobs major monthly bills at home. I just bought my latest t.v. show season called 24 by Fox t.v. I just looked at my purchased list in my Itunes and I am at 824 purchases so far and downloading as we speak (24 is still downloading). I am beginning to wonder how long my 750 gig main hard drive is going to last until I fill that up.

As for the DRM rights, I hope everyone that is cracking the code gets caught and put in prison where they belong. I am a little shocked that Mac-360 would even tip off readers about the guy who figured out the crack. I hope 360 does not support Illegal stuff such as this because it offends me when I pay for everything and yet there are hundreds if not thousands of people decoding DRM and then putting up the musicians and t.v. shows rights up on Limewire and bit torrent programs. It’s wrong and those people work hard for their money. Well I can say one thing, I don’t have to worry about the FED’s knocking or kicking in my front door. I know a person that let’s their Limewre run nonstop and he gives me hell about paying for things. I get called a goodie too shoes from him but I’ll be the one laughing when I am writing to him in prison. Yes I know most likely 98% of cyber thief’s will never get caught but for those other 2% I have no sympathy for you at ALL!

As for Grand Theft Auto, I think it’s pathetic game. I do believe this game and others like it put little pieces of subliminal messages in kids heads. I like violent games such as war games but when it comes to going around shooting cops and putting a bullet in someone’s head so you can hijack their car and get points is just sick.

You asked and I put in my true feelings on this one. I feel this a very good subject, most likely one of the best I have read to date and commented on. Now the real truth, will the moderators approved what I wrote about.
