Watch The iPhone Complaint List Grow Every Day.

iPhone - CarolCan you remember when the Mac was first introduced in 1984?

Were there ooohs and aaahs about the computer that changed the world? Plenty.

For example, check some of these phrases used to describe the iPhone:

PC Magazine - “takes the breath away.”

CBS Late Show’s Craig Ferguson - “This is, this is… Wow!!... this is the biggest technological development since… curly fries.”

Walt Mossberg - “made my relatively new Treo 700p seem primitive.”

Real Money - “the major phone makers are now in even more serious trouble.... (excerpted).

I’m 17 years old and a senior in highschool. I always hated cellone, all my friends had verizon and refused to text me because it wasnt free for them since i wasnt a verizon user. They had cool touch screen phones like the voyager, and flip/slide out keyboard phones for texting like the samsung and the enV. And i was stuck with an outdated Razr and cellone! No matter what i did my parents wouldnt switch companies. Once i heard AT&T;had jointed with cellone, i was almost overly joyed, “FINALLY I HAVE SOME HOPE!” and when i found out AT&T;was the only company so far that supported the iphone, i was really jumping for joy. I just ordered an iphone today, and i honestly can’t wait to have a nice trendy phone to show off smile its about time! I’m hearing some complaints about the iphone, after suffering from being an outcast and having stupid cellone phones, i can genuinely say that even if my phones a pieace of utter crap, i’m still thankful to finally have something trendy that verizon doesnt smile

Wha! Wha! Wha! Whiner.

You’ve just witnessed the single greatest, largest roll out of a new tech product in the history of the planet. Ever. And all you can do is whine about it.

Apple says they’re rolling out the iPhone to 20 more countries in a few weeks. Stand in line like the rest of us and quit your bitchin’.

I own a first generation iPhone which has worked ok. My problem is that I want to buy a 3G and after only a week is nowhere to be found to buy it. Steve Jobs and the apple team really screwed up the launch of what could’ve been the real thing for Apple. What is wrong with Apple and I don’t even wanna start with AT&T;they both ruined it for people like me who don’t mind what the price was b4 as long as u find it in the stores. Bottom line: very, very, very, very, very DISSAPOINTED!

my business is taxes and out of season, i transfer all my business calls to my cell phone that way i don’t have to be stuck at my office all day or lose calls or appointments. my major complaint is the duration of the battery. this phone has made me lose a lot of business which means losing money because i don’t even notice when the phone’s dead. when i noticed the problem, i went to the MAC store where i bought the phone and they told me i had to see a GENIUS at the GENIUS BAR. the few times i had time to go, though, they would only see me if i had an appointment. i went on seven occasions without an appointment and they wouldn’t even take the time to take a quick look. i already had at&t;so the contract wasn’t a problem. the problem was what i payed for the phone: 600 dollars and on top of it all, i had to buy a CRICKET because i was missing too many calls and each day the battery would last less. i’ve had many phones with different companies but i beleive the worst i’ve ever had is the IPHONE with at&t;.
disappointed

Some iPhone 3G Screens Appear Jaundiced

Does anyone remember the issues with the first-generation iPhone screens, where some of them, with a different LCD Panel ID number, were noticeably dimmer? Seems like…

Hello:

When i first bought the IPHONE I thought it was the coolest thing ever.  It had what i would call the cool factor (CF). Since then i have had nothing but problems with the phone.  First a hardware problem and they replaced the phone free of charge.  Fair enough.  Things happen and i understand that occassionally you get lemons.  Since replacing the phone i have been to the genius bar 5 additional times to work on software issues and compatability problems with my computer.  Right now my phone does not work at all.  For it to work i will have to drive another 100 miles to the genius bar and have them wipe the phone clean and start over for the same problem to happen again next week.

I own a Dell that is running on Windows Vista and if that was an issue before purchasing the phone and a 2 year contract they should have let me known.

Anyways, every time i have a problem with the phone i have to drive 100 miles round trip to have the problem resolved.  I even brought my computer to them to try and figure out what the problem was and they could not figure it out.

So i am now stuck with a 2 year contract on a phone that works maybe 3 to 4 days a week.  Oh, did i mention that i work from home and my cell phone is my office phone.

So do you think Apple will let me out of the 2 year contract?  ATT is washing there hands of the issue and the Genius Bar does not seem to have the ability to fix the problem.

What is my next move?  I have no idea except for driving another 100 miles and waiting for the problem to happen again in a few days.

Sincerely,

Brian
