I love my iPod. Adding it up, I’ve spent more money on accessories for my iPod than the iPod cost me in the first place
Do I really need a leather carrying case? How about a bra pouch? iPod socks? Vibrator?
There are hundreds and hundreds of products Made for iPod. Accessories makers cash in. Apple cashes in. I pay.
After doing surprisingly little research, I’ve come up with
Alexis’ Top 5 Crazy Things To Buy For Your iPod
Admittedly, research was limited to point and click opportunities. The criteria was a mixed bag of, “Hmmm, I’d like that.” Or, “No way, Jose!”
Both were combined with a healthy dose of, “You’re kidding me, right?” Here goes:
#5 – OhMiBod Vibrator
This is the one accessory for your iPod you probably won’t use in public.
Jeffrey first, uh, touched the vibrator topic in his article, Music, Mind, And Body Vibes Coming For Your iPod.
It’s not the first vibrator for the iPod, but it’s the coolest, uh, looking.
#4 – Click Wheel Gloves
In an age when carpal tunnel syndrome hits keyboard users, and deafness will hit iPod users with loud volume, sore fingers strike click wheel users.
TavoGloves to the rescue. Driving gloves for your BMW? Who needs ‘em.
You’ve got the perfect gift idea for a click-obsessed loved one. The Click Wheel Gloves have a special thermal stretch fabric, and special conductive material on the finger tips.
Keep warm while browsing your iPod.
#3 – Jukebox Station
Remember records? Remember the jukebox in a restaurant or bar?
OK, so there are times at bars you’d like to forget. Me, too. What you won’t forget is the iPod Stuff for your iPod.
It’s a stereo amplifier that looks like an old fashioned jukebox. $700 will get you yet another device for your iPod to blast away, irritating neighbors, and scaring animals.
Remote control not sold separately. Available at Target and other fine online stores.
#2 – iSound Cap
Wearing your iPod is all the rage these days. Shuffle, nano, no problemo, tomodachi.
iPod nano and iPod shuffle users can stick their iPods just about anywhere. Or, wear them as ultra chic accessories.
Or, just stick the little bugger into a cap. The iSound Cap. It’s even compatible with the Nike+iPod Sports Kit.
#1 – Power Pouch Sports Bra
I’ll bet you guys can’t wait to get your hands on one of these great gift ideas.
The Power Pouch comes in a bunch of colors and sizes.
There’s a little kangaroo-like pouch right in the front of the bra.
No, I’m not kidding. It’s right in the front, zipper and all. Fun to put in, fun to take out, not quite visible (depends on physical endowments).
Just like OhMyBod.
