Color me deluded, but I continue to hope that mankind will develop a time machine. You know, some TARDIS-like device that takes us forward and back in time.
How cool would it be to correct past mistakes or see what tomorrow brings? That doofus in high school who threw up on my gown at the Senior Prom? Gone. Investing in future stocks? Done.
As it turns out, we can’t go forward or backwards in time, but we can calculate past and future dates with a cheap Mac app.
Calculate The Past And The Future
Just to clarify, I’m talking about an app that calculates past and future dates. As in calendar dates, not prom dates, or your next hottie date. There is a difference.
Date Time Calc is a calculator that calculates dates forwards and backwards.
It’s not going to detect a future romantic involvement and it won’t fix a previous hookup that went sour (I’d pay extra for that).
Date Time Calc can be very useful when you want to calculate the number of days in a period, as in from this date to that date.
If you need to know the date (and the time) exactly 180 days from now, Date Time Calc makes it easy.
It can even calculate the number of days between specific dates– in the future or the past. Or, both.
The calendar-like controls are simple to use, whether setting a date in the future or the past.
As you type in the dates, the results are displayed instantly, including different languages, and the current local time and date.
Date Time Calc also displays time differences and time intervals, including hours, minutes, and seconds if you need the extra precision.
This is an excellent app to set dates for future events, calculate past events down to the second, or simply to muck around with in the hopes that it will somehow transform your current beau into a George Clooney-esque type.
It won’t. But I’d pay extra for an app that does.
