In fact, the weather is the one thing everyone complains about, but, like complaining about politicians, no one does anything about it. And weather in the 21st century is going bonkers. Someone needs to keep an eye on what’s going on outside. Here’s how to do it.
Weather For 12 Cities
Maybe it’s climate change. Maybe it’s just a natural cycle of the earth. Maybe all this bad weather is caused by your neighbor. Whatever it is, it doesn’t seem to be getting better.
This weekend it was unseasonably warm on the eastern side of the U.S. and too cold in the west.
There’s such severe drought in the Midwest that giant rivers are being dredged because water levels or so low.
What can we Mac users do about it? Not much. But for a little over 16-cents for each city, 12 cities total, the app Temps can keep tabs on the weather for you.
Yes, I know your Mac’s Menubar is full already, but how cool is it to know what the weather is like in 11 other cities (assumes you want to know what it’s like outside).

One click to the Menubar brings down a list of your favorite cities and current conditions.
Another click pops out more detail for a selected city, including weather forecast throughout the day, plus weather forecasts for the next three days.
Current weather conditions are listed, too. Humidity, atmospheric pressure, cloud cover, precipitation for the day, and the chance of rain, as well as sunrise and sunset times.
The charcoal interface can be changed to a different color. And, your chosen locations can be synchronized to another Mac by using iCloud.
Temps won’t do anything about the weather other than let you know at a glance what the weather is causing your friends and family in 12 different locations (averages just over 16-cents per location).
