Well, the answer is simple. He would and he would. After all, the Mac is the discriminating computer user’s computer of choice, and Superman is definitely a man of discriminating tastes. We could ask which app’s Superman would use, but let’s save that for another day. He would definitely use this free app, though.
It’s The Super Namesake
Superman would use a Mac for email and web browsing, and I’m sure he’s into iPhoto, iMovie, and iTunes, though I doubt if he’s much into Garageband (what instrument does Superman play?).
Mac users are known for personalized utilities; those useful apps that help us do what Apple doesn’t provide in OS X.
So, without further adieu, Superman would definitely use Super Copy Paste.
This clever and free Mac app runs in the background, out of the way, but does a super job of saving us time. And who needs to save time more than Superman?
One of the problems with copying and pasting text is the text formatting. What’s formatted when copied is not necessarily the same formatting when pasted. Even Superman knows that, hence his need for Super Copy Paste.
What it does is simple. When you copy text, Super Copy Paste strips out the text formatting in one document, so when pasted, the text matches whatever formatting you have in the second document.
Even better, like Superman, Super Copy Paste is smart. It has filters which can remove specific characters you don’t want to copy from one document to another.
Ugly email forwarding arrows and lines, I’m looking at you.
When copying text you have other options that are useful (like Superman’s super hearing, x-ray vision, tights and boots). Copy text, apply filters as needed, then preview the results before pasting them into the target document.
Without a doubt Superman would be proud of this namesake application. It is, indeed, super. And free.
I’m also sure that If You Could Only Have One Productivity Tool For Your Mac Then Choose CopyPaste Pro that Superman would use it, too.
