Who doesn’t like Instagram? iPhone or Android, it’s the most popular way to share photos online. Why isn’t there an Instagram app for the Mac? After all, iPhoto on the Mac is where we store all of our photos– iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
For now, Instagram is mobile only, but InstaFeed gives Mac users a way to view Instagram feeds, organize and search photos, download photos and do everything fun except upload photos.
Instagram Without Uploads
There’s probably a good business decision that prevents Instagram from creating a Mac version. Whatever it is, you’ll still need Instagram on your iPhone or iPad to upload photos.
What InstaFeed does is bring a little of the Instagram flavor to your Mac. Browse Instagram feeds, find others to follow, and manage photos from Instagram on a Mac.
Finding users and photos is easy, too. InstaFeed lets you search hashtags and favorite users, or create your own hashtag.
If you’re a photo-loving social animal, InstaFeed also integrates with Twitter and Facebook on the Mac, and comes with an option to track who follows you.
The interface to Instagram’s wealth of photos and users is typical Mac– simple, elegant, useful.
Use InstaFeed to manage your Instagram followers.
We’re Instagram users and love it on the iPhone, but what’s missing from InstaFeed is exactly what you get with the Instagram app on iOS devices.
The option to upload photos.
Add that to InstaFeed and it’s the perfect Mac app to manage Instagram.
