We convert photos, resize photos, and rename photos by the hundreds at a time. And, we add watermarks so our photos don’t get ripped off and used elsewhere (as easily, anyway). If you manage many thousands of photos in that manner, here’s a Mac app that makes life easier and does the work faster.
Convert, Resize, Transform, Watermark
The most redeeming feature of Image Bucket isn’t the list of features, though they’re pretty much exactly as describe above and in need by those of us with more than a normal collection of photos.
You won’t have to go far to find a Mac photo or image app that converts photos into various and sundry Mac and PC file formats.
Resizing photos? That’s child’s play. There are probably a hundred apps which resize to width and height, maintain proportion, resize to a maximum height or width.
And, yes, a few dozen apps also embed watermarks, usually text, but often an image.
In fact, all the above is rather standard fare. Image Bucket differs in two ways. First, it’s easier to use than most. Second, it’s less expensive than most.
TAke a look at the basic features.
Image Bucket does both text and graphic watermarks. For text, you get control over font type, style, size, color, line spacing and character spacing, as well as opacity.
Add drop shadow and select nine positions and offset options. Or, use an image watermark for the same positions and still control the image’s opacity within the photo.
Even better is the option to preview the image, including the watermark, before making permanent changes. Image Bucket is just nicely done and a photographer’s friend when you deal with hundreds of photos at a time in a collection of many tens of thousands.
