Within minutes after firing it up, school age children can create animations with 3D-like characters in their own multimedia movie productions which can be published to YouTube with a click. Is this a great holiday gift giving idea for kids with Macs or what?

We all know that multimedia content creation is big business. Yes, people make big money with their own content channels on YouTube.
Teachers use multimedia to create a more interactive classroom environment. With Kid Pix Deluxe 3D, even kids can get in on the content creation wave.
This is one of those apps that can keep kids busy for hours, but actually accomplishing something that may have a future.
Think of all those TV shows on Disney’s various television channels. Similar productions can be created on a Mac, even by elementary school kids.
Kid Pix comes with many multi-layered backgrounds in 3D (or, more 3D-like)– over 100 backgrounds total. It also features animated characters and objects which can be used on top of a background.
Animation can be troublesome to learn but Kid Pix makes it easier with simple path animation that works on characters, stickers, and text.
Scenes can have video narration with animated consume frames (and there are dual audio tracks for narration and background music).
