Think of the advantages that an Einstein-Rosen bridge could do for travel throughout the universe. What? You’re not sure what an Einstein-Rosen bridge really is?
Think wormhole. Star Trek-like wormhole. You know, a shortcut through time and space. A tunnel from one point in the galaxy to another point millions of light years away. Science fiction? Nope. Now you can add a wormhole to your Mac’s screen and it’s free.
ASAP vs. ASPPPPP
For Mac users with large displays, or worse, with multiple displays, or even with an extra display connected to a MacBook, you know the problem with the screen pointer.
First, where is it? The Mac’s tiny screen pointer can get lost rather easily when dealing with plenty of screen real estate.
That’s fixed easily by using the oh so cool myPoint Light app.
If you want a way to move the screen pointer from one screen to another, or from one point on your Mac’s screen to another point– without having to move it all by yourself– you’ll need ASPPPPP instead.
Yes, it’s a screen pointer wormhole on the Mac’s screen which magically moves the screen pointer from one location to another without all the effort of actually, well, you know, moving it. The screen pointer gets sucked into one side and spit out instantly on the other. Just like a real wormhole (you know, the ones on Star Trek and other SyFy TV shows)
The way ASPPPPP works is rather straightforward. You set up a portal entry location somewhere on your Mac’s screen or screens (a far away corner, below the menus works well). Then, set a portal exit location somewhere else (obviously, on the other side of the screen would be good, but on a completely different screen is perfect).
Move the pointer over the wormhole entry portal and it’s immediately transferred to the wormhole exit portal somewhere on the Mac’s screen.
Is that cool or what?
If you have an 11-inch MacBook Air then you’re not likely to appreciate what ASPPPPP can do. But, if you attach a 27-inch display to the MBA, or you have a 27-inch iMac with a second display, you know what that kind of screen real estate can do to make finding and moving your screen pointer a cumbersome proposition.
ASPPP’s free wormholes make it easier and faster to move the screen pointer across a few light years of pixels.
