Fortunately, boys and girls, guys and gals, there’s an app for that. What this clever utility does is massage my OCD gene, reduce the Mac’s screen clutter, and give me peace of mind so I can sleep better at night. Well, alright, a little bourbon does the same thing, but this is less expensive.
Move, Resize, Rejoice!
Here’s the problem to be solved. We MacBook users have smaller screens but more apps than ever. That means screen clutter, apps and their associated windows hog the limited screen real estate.
Enter the utility move+resize (yes, that’s the name) which joins a relatively crowded field of Mac screen and window management apps.
Apparently, I’m not the only one with enough OCD to see the problem all those open and running Mac apps can cause.
When you think of the phrase ‘window management tool‘ what comes to mind?
Neatly organized windows and an uncluttered screen, right? You got it. move+resize lets you set up to 28 different window positions and sizes; more than enough to keep the Mac’s screen organized.
move+resize uses swipes, touch zones, and pinches to reposition windows. Save the size with a gesture, then apply it to any app window.
Control settings are a breeze to setup and use. Select Swipes, Touches, or Pinches, then setup the window location and size for each.
Precision window sizes and locations are right down to the pixel. An preset can be applied to almost any Mac app’s windows with the selected gestures.
This one is well crafted, simple to setup, easier to use (just remember the gestures), and goes a long way to massaging the OCD gene into submission by removing the Mac’s inherent window clutter.
