If so, then you know that those accounts are cluttered with messages from the past, not easily pruned or trimmed down because, well, that’s a tedious exercise and, well, we all have better things to do. Here’s an easy way to remove email messages from your accounts.
POP Goes Email
What it does is rather simple and straightforward, often necessary, and an easy way to keep email messages cleaned up on email accounts.
MyPopBarrier removes email messages directly from your email account server.
Many of our email accounts these days use the IMAP protocol which means email messages are often stored nearly forever on a remote server. If the server handles the POP method, MyPopBarrier makes it easy to find, review, and delete– prune, if you will– messages you don’t need to keep.
To use it, just add your email account details to view the messages still sitting on the email server.
This nifty utility is a good way to clean up a year of spam, messages you don’t need and don’t want, and simply to give you a quick look at all that’s been saved through the years that you’d forgotten about.
You probably won’t use MyPopBarrier very often, but it’s useful for cleaning out old messages once or twice a year.
