I came across a package of free templates for Word, Excel and PowerPoint for Mac users. That’s right. Free. It’s a package that’s cleverly titled Templates Design for Office Free. If you think that implies that there’s a package of Office templates that are not free, you’d be spot on accurate.
Free Is As Free Does
To paraphrase Forrest Gump, free is like a box of chocolates. You never know exactly what you’re going to get. Free Office templates is a good thing.
This package comes with a very limited number of templates. That explains why it’s free, right?
However, free is good and every Mac user can use a few more templates for Office.
For example, Word users will get templates for business cards, brochures, articles, catalogs, letters, menus, reports, and more.
Excel users will find templates for business plans and more. You get the idea, right? What’s interesting about the app is that there’s no in-app purchase option to get the larger template package. You have to buy that separately.
Why is the package free?
Obviously, if you like the free templates you might be enticed to purchase the full package, so think of it as a trial version.
Still, free is free.
