What comes with the holiday season? Photos. Hundreds of photos. Photos that need to be shared. Photos that need to be sliced, diced, Julienned, and customized to look a little different than everyone else’s photos.
Here’s yet another way to spice up your photos this holiday season. Spice? How about a one-click way to enhance a photo on your Mac with a few dozen styles and effects? It’s cheap and easy and here’s how it’s done.
Fun. Card. Studio.
My fun photo app selection for the holidays is the latest version of Fun Card Studio which comes with 30 single-click styles, options to customize styles, and yet it’s easier to use than the previous version.
In fact, it couldn’t be much easier to create a customized photo that’s part shareable photo, and part photo post card.
Can you say, ‘point and click?’
It’s that simple. Select a photo. Select a post card style from the 30 included styles using the drop down menu. Type in a custom message. Share.
Those custom messages can also be customized for font, size, color, and style. Fun Card Studio is self explanatory, simple to setup and use, and the resulting photos are customized, personalized, and easy to share online.
There’s much to like here, considering the price tag is lower than nominal, and the fun factor is higher than normal.
For example, Fun Card Studio also comes with 15 built-in photo effects and filters so each photo can be fully personalized and customized.
Fun Cards can be organized within the app, and every edit or change is automatically saved so you won’t lose any customization, yet there’s an undo feature so you can back out of an edit with ease.
Sharing options are extensive, too, and include Mail and Messages, as well as Flickr, Facebook, and Twitter. This is one of those rare bargain apps which is nicely done, pleasant to use, fun to share, and doesn’t take a degree in graphic design to figure out how to use. Plus, Fun Card Studio 2 is inexpensive, available for download on the Mac App Store, but also has a trial version from the developer so you can try-before-you-buy.
