Memory decreases as the waistline increases. And you know what they say, right? “A waist is a terrible thing to mind.” Wait. What? No. That should be, “A mind is a terrible thing to waste.” That’s better. Here’s a clever Mac app that helps you to improve your memory by playing games.
Nueronyx is an interesting Mac app; rather, a game– which helps to sharpen your memory. Think Match or Concentration, but on your Mac’s screen.
There’s not much to it so Neuronyx is simple to learn, but effective at getting you to use parts of your brain not much in use.
Pure concentration. Match the cards in as short an amount of time as you can.
Neuronyx comes with multiple levels of difficulty but little to learn. Simply concentrate on the cards and try to match them as quickly as possible.
The claim to fame here is that Neuronyx gives you personalization controls. Matching cards can be images or photos, sounds or words.
Your mileage may vary, of course. When first using Neuronyx I found it both juvenile and frustrating. But playing it again each day for a few minutes I also noticed that I felt a little, uh, mentally sharper– as if I could focus just a bit better.
You know what they say? Use it or lose it. So it is with our brainpower; our concentration ability. Neuronyx helps you improve what you’ve still got.
