One of the less fortunate aspects of our genetic make up is that it follows us everywhere. Forever. Take pimples. Please. Pimples are for teenagers, right? Wrong. Some of us are perpetual adolescents.
Popping pimples as a certifiable adult with a child’s face should not be part of the adult curriculum. If you have pimples and they show up on your photos, here’s the way to get rid of them. On the photos. Not your face. I need to make that distinction perfectly clear.
The Pimple Popper
Perfect Face is the positive name for an iPhone and Mac app that promises to be your personal digital pimple, mole, and blemish remover. Pimple Popper might be a more descriptive name, but the app does more than that and does it with ease.
If you can point and click, you can get rid of blemishes, pimples, and other visible evidences of age (whether puberty or adulthood or combinations of both).
Perfect Face is a perfect companion to photos you want to share with others, particularly those social dating sites where a good complexion gets better quality responses. It’s also good for sharing on Facebook or Instagram or just to send photos back to your high school graduation buddies so they can see how you want to look.
The app removes pimples, moles, scars, and more just by clicking. Zoom in or out to improve the precision of each click. It automatically detects skin color, but comes with an option for customer tweaking and you can pull skin color from anywhere else on a photo and Perfect Face blends it in.
Most of us carry a camera in our pockets so there’s a Perfect Face app for the iPhone, too, and it’s actually easier to use, but a bit less precise (think finger tip vs. mouse pointer).
The tools are similar to the Mac version and just require a touch to remove the most offending vestiges of a wayward, chocolatized youth, and it comes with all the standard iOS sharing options. While the iPhone version is more convenient than the Mac version, there’s a difference in price (the former is less than the latter), but the real precision comes with the Mac version. Point and click has advantages over touch.
There’s no easier way to shed a few pimples and look a few years younger.
