What’s not to like? It’s free, easy, and a good way to stay in touch without, you know, touching. The problem with Instagram is that it’s mobile only. iPhone only. Yes, it runs the same on iPad but it looks goofy in that 2X mode. What about Mac?
There are a few Mac apps that can upload photos to Instagram including iGallery Pro. This mostly free Mac app let’s you upload photos to your Instagram account– square videos, non-square videos, even photos. The app even lets you like and comment on photos from those whom you follow.
Not bad for free, right?
iGallery looks and works much like Instagram on your iPhone but on the Mac. Use the standard and obvious buttons to Choose a Photo on your Mac, Write A Caption for the photo, and click Send to upload to your Instagram account.
Ipso facto and alakazam. An Instagram app for the Mac.
iGallery comes with enough features to make it useful. You can like, comment, follow, search for people and places. Photos can be saved by a right-click. iGallery is available on the Mac App Store and on the developer’s website. And free.
